Nothing is a project that tries to explain the feeling of nothing, that feeling in between happy and sad, that numb state. How do you explain a feeling that has no set definition, only loose associated terms, ie; empty? Developing an unexposed film, and scanning the negatives as if they had images on, left me with 20 black frames. Most of these frames contained marks, scratches or smudges, still giving me something other than just pure black. These empty images still show something, even if it is unimportant at first sight.  This defiance of process, the lack of imagery presented creates a narrative of which shows a stage being skipped in the act of taking a photo, but still being left with an image. It should be nothing, but it is still something.
